『ぼくはアフリカにすむキリンといいます』のキリンさんは友達もおらず退屈していました。ある日、地平線の向こうにいる誰かにお手紙を書く事を思いつきます。お手紙は思いもかけない出会いが重なりクジラ岬に住むペンギンさんに届きます。文通のやりとりからそのお手紙に関わる動物たちが育む素敵な出会いと友情のお話です。昨年ドイツ語に翻訳され2018年度ドイツ児童文学賞を受賞した作品です。
Today’s book is a good children’s literature. A giraffe which wants to have a friend writes a letter to somebody who lives over the horizon. Finally A penguin received this letter and correspondence begins. That is a great story about friendship and cross cultural communication. This book won German Youth Literature Prizes 2018.
